Ease of Use:  

This slideshow software is extremely easy to use and installs quickly. It has an easy to use attractive, liquid interface with handy menus. Another attractive feature is that items expand when you mouse over them. For example, as you mouse over an image, the image enlarges so you know exactly which one you’re selecting and can get a better view of it before choosing it. We found this feature quite useful.

MediaShow has many one-click commands such as options for sharing on Flickr or YouTube and simple photo edits, like rotation. It is also very difficult to make a mistake with this software, since it displays previews and allows you a chance to make sure you like an alteration or edit before you commit to it.

Design Features:  

This photo slide show software includes most basic design features, such as the ability to add transitions and any music file that you desire. The software package also includes many handy photo editing options such as quick fixes like red-eye removal, cropping, auto brightness, contrast, balance and lighting. It also has effects that can make your images look professionally altered like conversion to black and white, sepia, matte, vignette, soft focus, tint, glow and antique.

CyberLink’s MediaShow can also create fun videos of your photos or video files quickly and easily, with or without music. This program makes it incredibly easy to add your favorite music to your video or slideshow and it automatically adjusts music clip length to the length of the slideshow or it can be set to loop. Compared to many programs this one has limited music options but most beginners will enjoy how easy it is to insert music without knowing much about audio file editing or track placement.
The MediaShow software doesn’t include pre-designed templates or graphics but it does have the ability to insert text and captions.

The major issue preventing this from being an exceptional product is the lack of customization options such as transitions, timing control, multiple music tracks, text animations and the ability to move or zoom into your pictures.
